The circus owner Herrn Carl Althoff during the II World War, he saved a lot of people, giving them shelter and work! Circus performed almost to the end of the war, including the military, so the Gestapo actors not haunted! in several cities where live performances of the circus people came to thank him for saving their lives or their familie.
